This camp introduces the inexperienced camper to the fun and excitement of camping in a rustic cabin setting or tents.
For kids in Middle School and up.
A two or three-day camp experience at the Forester’s Cabin in Somerset near Seven Springs Resort.
Kids develop skills in planning, decision-making, responsibility, and social interaction. They work as a team under the guidance of adult volunteers to plan and execute outdoor programs. Activities may include hiking, fishing, nature studies, fire building and tending, and outdoor cooking.
One-day trips to the cabin are scheduled throughout the year for special environmental projects and outdoor activities.
