Youth and Teen Programs

Kid’s Connection Starts October 29th

After-school program for kindergarten through 4th grade.

This program provides elementary-aged children a chance to create arts & crafts, play games, limited homework help, and much more! Children also receive a nutritious meal upon arrival. Space is limited, so sign up early!

Requirements

• Child must be in kindergarten, first, second, third, or fourth grade. 
• A bus is provided from Ringgold Elementary School South to the MVYATA Center. 
• If your child attends a different school, sign-ups are still welcome. However, transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Details

• Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 4 – 6 PM. 
• This program follows the Ringgold School District calendar.
• Located at the MVYATA Center: 160 Thompson Avenue, Donora, PA 15033

Cost

• $15 per month per child, and
• A yearly membership fee ($5/individual or $10/family) is required.

528 Program Starts November 7th

For 5th through 8th-grade students.

This program provides middle school-age students a safe environment to be themselves, a chance to be creative, limited homework help, learn to prepare healthy meals for themselves & others, useful life skills, and much more!

Requirements

• Must be in fifth, sixth, seventh, or eighth grade. 
• Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

• Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30 PM. 
• This program follows the Ringgold School District calendar.
• Located at the MVYATA Center: 160 Thompson Avenue, Donora, PA 15033

Cost

• A yearly membership fee ($5/individual or $10/family) is required.

Teens Group

For teens in grades 9th through 12th.

This program provides a safe and encouraging environment for teens to learn and grow, helping them ease into adulthood. They have opportunities to give back through community service and acts of kindness, such as participating in neighborhood litter clean-ups, making treats for younger groups, and training options to become junior counselors at Day Camp or Camp Watakamini. Playing games, solving puzzles, crafting, and engaging with therapy animals is great fun.

• Must be in ninth, tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grade. 
• Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

• Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 PM
• This program follows the Ringgold School calendar. 
• Summer sessions are possible if there is enough interest to meet regularly.
